Cities Views and Landscapes

Somewhere in Switzerland last Fall...
bummer that the train's cables are in front but I
couldn't get out of the train to take the picture

Swiss Alps... seen from my home...

Snowy night here in Switzerland this winter

Here's the winter view (-32°) from my balcony a February afternoon

Neuchatel Lake... on a windy cold day

The "Place des Halles" in Neuchatel. Found the contrast between the building and the sky nice :)

Global view from Neuchatel, taken from the train station

The "Hotel DuPeyrou" named from its builder and also resident, who was a guy from an aristocratic family at the 18th century

The woods, near my house in Switzerland on a sunny October afternoon...

Here's the sundawn somewhere in France near th German border, October 2011

Sunset, same place, around 6 PM

This is a part of "Notre Dame De Paris" by night... this is a famous cathedral, and a beautiful building... Every year there are millions of tourists that are visiting Paris, and this is one of the subjets the most photographied in the whole city....

another side of Notre Dame...

This is a view from Paris by night, taken from a bridge that crosses the Seine.... Though I have no idea what's this building, I thought the lights on the water were looking good for a picture...

This is a famous building (ugly but famous) of a town near where I live, La Chaux De Fonds.... The tower is called "Espacité" and it's 14 floors high. At the top there's a restaurant with panoramic view where you can see the whole town from...

Here's a picture taken from the 14th floor... this is the main avenue in the town (Léopold Robert, named after a famous swiss painter who's born in this city)

here's the "Grande Fontaine" it is located at one side of the Avenue. It was built and brought there in 1888 to celebrate the arrival in town of the drinkable water from a close source.

this is a street in the same town where you can
see 3 bell towers in the same view...

This is "La Villa Turque" by Swiss architect "Le Corbusier" built
in 1916-1917 for a rich client of him

as I travel a lot, I got the opportunities to see some wonderful places... so here are a few of them...
The Half Penny Bridge in Dublin. Originally it was the only bridge that crossed the Liffey River, and people had to pay half of a penny to cross it. That's from where it gets its name...

I know there are horses on the pic but... it is in front of my house... Pic taken this summer...

this is Sutton Beach... I love Ireland (in case you didn't notice it)

Here's a picture of the mountains, taken from the train station near my home... in front, there's the Neuchâtel Lake... this was on a fall's early morning... the colors are the original ones... beautiful
